america?

I want to figure more about her stance and why she thinks this way.
I believe the civil right movements are crucial to the building of America as a multi-ethnic country. To ignore the views of these people is to remove their contributions and belittle their existence. Even God doesn’t want that. Even if there are points that may make America seem imperfect, it is from these imperfections that we learn more about the path we should take. We must learn from our mistakes, however cliche that may sound.

25 Things
1. I am currently taking computer algorithms and getting my butt kicked. Computer science is a lot more science than I ever intended. It is a lot more math and theory than I ever wanted to indulge any time into. I kind of feel like switching to something else but I’ve already dedicated so much time into this that I think I should just go on with it.
2. I have done a lot more studying and class-going than I ever intended to in my college life. I tried to do fencing first quarter but only ended up going for half of the quarter. Too many classes and my classes are just getting more difficult every quarter it seems. It seems like the math classes I’m taking are always one step behind the other classes I’m taking which requires the higher level math.
3. Prepare for the worst but expect the best. You’ll be ready for any situation.
4. I like to go outdoor away from civilization. I find hiking and fishing to just be serene. Redwood forests are fun to walk through. I want to go spelunking. I like nature. I guess everyone does, at some level or another.
5. I will go travel to every continent with a human population of at least 100 (if Antarctica ever reaches that I guess I’m going). I will go travel through the Americas. I want to visit Wyoming to see their purple mountains. I want to see the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River. I want to go to Manchu Pichu in the Andes. I want to eventually go to Mexico City and stand on the remnants of Technotilan (when it’s safe, of course). I want to go to the Southwest and see a ghost town. I want to also see the cliff settlements that the Native Americans built. I want to go to the east coast and see the mounds from the mound-building people. I want to go to Canada. See Toronto and other things. Go on a trail there. I want to go to Alaska. I’m not quite sure what I’d do there yet though. Maybe spy on the Russians. I want to go to Australia. Go see the Rabbit-proof Fence and the aboriginals. I want to go to Sydney. Go off the coast and see the Coral Reef. I do not feel like going scuba diving quite yet though. I want to go visit Africa but I’m not sure about the stability of the continent as a whole. I will probably set foot on it at some time or another. Egypt is in Africa and I do want to see the pyramids and the sphinx. I want to see the Nile River and follow it for a while. I wish the Middle East didn’t have so much turmoil as it does right now. There is a lot of rich history there. I want to go to Istanbul and stand in the city that was Constantinople. I want to go to Jerusalem and Mecca. I want to see the Dome of the Rock. I want to go on a caravan route like in the 1300’s. I want to see the reaches of the Ottoman Empire. I’m not too sure about going to see the Safavid Empire’s remains. I want to go to Asia. See the birthplace of the Mongol Empire. I want to go to China and run on (next to) the Great Wall (most probably not the whole thing). I want to go to Tibet and see the monks. Maybe visit a Shaolin temple. I want to go to the Forbidden Palace. I want to go to Japan and go island hopping. I want to go to Europe and see the Roman Colosseum. And the aqueducts. I want to go to the Iberian Peninsula. Go visit some Spanish castles. Go to the different provinces. I want see the bull-run. Maybe run in it (hehe, am I crazy enough to?). I want to go to France and see Paris. And go to the country side. See a winery or a vineyard. I want to go to Britain. Go see Parliament. Not too sure what else i’d do there though. Maybe visit some castles. I wish the original Shakespeare’s Theater was still there. I want to go to Iceland, Scandanavia, and Germany. I want to see the Berlin Wall. I want to go into some random nook of Germany and get a sense of how it was to be a Norseman.
6. I am trying to graduate in 3 years so I don’t build up a large amount of debt. As of now I am expecting to take out a loan for the next two years as it is. I don’t want to be working just to pay back debt. I would prefer to stay longer in school and just take it a little bit easier, but I don’t see that as a viable option. I want to get a BS because that is the minimum requirement for entry programming positions. I would love to learn more about my major and the material matter, even going to a graduate school.
7. I like technology. I want to create an iron man suit. That would be awesome. I would prefer to make a spaceship though. Vroom vroom. I really want to meet extraterrestial, intelligent, and sentient life. I think it’d be interesting to see the difference in cultures. The Star Wars and Star Trek universes appealed to my inner child. The idea of a confederacy or interplanetary union was intriguing.
8. I play too many games. I spent one year not playing any video games. I did a lot of learning of material and such. That was the year that I got more seriously into the computer world. I did a lot more web development and started my path of programming. That was 7th grade.
9. I never got into the whole manga/anime thing. I don’t understand how you can just spend so much time on it. I enjoy reading a few series though. I got into watching Prince of Tennis. Damn, that was a long series. My first anime was Suzuka (if you ignore Pokemon, Digimon, and Yu-gi-oh). I googled in “Track and Field anime”. That was apparently the only one. That was freshman year high school, when I joined the track team. I really wanted to do track ever since I was young though. When we played tag during elementary school, there weren’t many people that could keep up. It was fun. Oh good old days.
10. I don’t really know much about automobiles. The only thing that I do know is that they get me from point A to point B as long as they work. I feel like I should start looking into it. The mechanical aspect of engines are beyond my scope of knowledge. I need to look up prices and such for parts and how to put it all together. I also should look at prices of various models of cars.
11. I never really celebrated my birthday. One year my parents forgot about it. Heck, I thought my birthday was on the 17th for a little bit. Not many people say happy birthday to me. Most people don’t care when it is. The first time in ten years I get my birthday celebrated by more than three people I get a pie in the face.
12. I celebrated Christmas and gave/receive gifts only a handful of times. More recent in my high school years. I only celebrated it twice or so when I was a kid. I remember it was quite a hassle to set up the tree and such. We used a plastic one so putting it up was annoying. And decorating it took quite some time.
13. I want to go to Disneyland and ride on space mountain. I only remember riding it once. It was very annoying that one time when I did because I was so small. My head kept hitting the handlebar and it was jerky.
14. I have never went paintball shooting. Or fired a BB gun or an air rifle. Now that I think of it, I feel like doing so. I want to go to a firing range. I tried to take archery but the class filled up just so fast. I am going to try again this past time. I think the power of the bow is awe inspiring. There is something amazing just thinking about back in the day where the composite bow with weaponry was the best strategy. Go go Mongolian Empire.
15. I like seafood. It’s easy enough to prepare and tastes good. I like how it’s healthier to eat than other meats since it’s a more primary source in most cases.
16. I want to learn a martial art of some sort. My parents never let me because they thought it would increase my aggressive behavior and also because they thought I was accident prone. I think that I am both, but I think martial arts would have been helpful in controlling both of those aspects.
17. The laptop I have right now is the first laptop that was bought for me and me alone. All the other computers and laptop that I’ve had in the past were hand-me downs. Usually from my brother, but sometimes from my parents.
18. I have never been skiing or snowboarding. I have played in the snow before. I want to have a snow day.
19. I like crepes.
20. I want to either get a submarine, a boat, or an airship. Go go Final Fantasy Airship! I need to find myself a Cid.
21. I am very lucky to have met Cathy.
hands on skills.23. I am worried about the future. What kind of legacy will I leave behind? Will I leave any?
24. I want to learn some
25. I watched the movie It when I was a kid. The one with the scary kid-eating clown. Yea. Don’t let your kid ever watch it until he gets old enough. I watched it when I was 5. Let’s just say my parents thought I wouldn’t remember it. Let’s just say I did.

Small Complaint and Halo
The Math test was just terrible. Finished 50% of the test. Did less than that correctly. And the problem I spent the most time on was a problem I did wrong. What the eff. And it was terribly easy now that I think about it, mainly because I do not have the time pressure and test stress.
Played Halo Reach. It is interesting. I am intrigued in how team strategies would work with the classes. Guard is fun. Guard dodging grenades/rockets/hammers/swords = pro. Airborne is just annoying when a whole team goes airborne. It’s interesting to trick people into thinking you are jumping in a corridor when in actuallity you are flying in it. It makes miss as they predict you to land. Stalker is annoying if you have any melee or close-up weapon. Shotgun/sword/hammer with invis+radar jammer = annoying. Oh. I got a Dreamcrusher medal (10 hammer kills in a row) by being invis.
History test was fun.
